Darryl Arnez (D.A.) Williams, son of pioneer radio personality Kae Williams and Viola Williams was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa. After entering the U.S. Air force, he was stationed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Fairborn, OH. Upon serving his enlistment, he remained in Dayton where he married, raised his children, and became actively involved in ministry.
He attended Wright State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. He also studied Leadership Development at Walden University before transferring to United Theological Seminary where he earned his Master of Divinity in Church Renewal with a emphasis on Global Charismatic Studies.
His journey with God began at the age of 12 with the passing away of his mother. He recalls praying to God with these words, “God I do not know who you are, but I believe that you exist. My prayer is that before I die, you reveal yourself to me.” He now traces the hand of God from prayer forward, leading him to saving faith in Jesus and an understanding of God's purpose for his life.
While serving 20 years in an independent Charismatic congregation, he explored the movements of God in American history. Sensing the desire of God to re-ignite the flame of revival and restoration, he served in pastoral ministry in The United Methodist Church for 9 years before turning his attention to the leading of God to assist local churches equip their members discover and develop their unique gifts and callings. His emphasis upon the practical application of scripture appeals to people across denominational lines, blending theological thought, humor, and prophetic insights, D.A. is committed to “making disciples of Jesus” who are equipped for power evangelism.
He was reminded by his god-father, the late Bishop and legendary soul-singer Solomon Burke, that "the most important thing an individual can do, is to follow the call that God has placed on their life". D.A. is committed to doing just that and is determined to develop the gifts and calling of God in every conceivable way to share the grace of God with a hungry world.
He is married to his wonderful wife Debra and together they have 5 children and 9 grandchildren.
D.A. Williams believes that we are living on the brink of another great movement of God and firmly believes what the Apostle Paul wrote “God wants to make known to all the glorious riches of the mystery among the nations, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” (Col. 1:27)
